Message they claimed it was an unecessary expense and would most likely not be set up properly anyways. Kids were jumping on coilovers because the term sounded cool more than anything else.

The tide shifted mostly when Kuah offered a kit priced within the same ballpark as the Eibach/KYB setup. To further make his coilovers enticing to your average street user, he offered tech advice on setting them up.

So all of a sudden, you have the option of buying high-quality parts while paying not much more than standard suspension parts, and you have a solid manufacturer support as a bonus. This has nothing to do with "lemmings".
